Following the map I'd been commissioned to create for Prince Philip's funeral, Hello! magazine asked me to illustrate a map for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II's funeral route through London and Windsor. The map was extremely time-sensitive and was created in accordance with briefings and protocol released by the palace to the press.
The route from Westminster Hall via the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and ending at St George's Chapel, Windsor is illustrated with relevant landmarks. The map also features a tiny rendition of King Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry and other royal family members walking in the procession as well more detailed feature illustrations.
