An illustration for PHS Vancouver, a not-for-profit shelter for those needing emergency shelter and social housing. They provide housing for those who would otherwise find it hard to find due to their physical health, mental health, behavioural issues and substance dependencies, along with those that are homeless.
PHS runs several hotels as housing throughout Vancouver, along with operating other projects such as a legal supervised-injection site, known as Insite, a credit union branch (Pigeon Park Savings), a food service that feeds people in Single-Room Occupancy residences (Downtown Eastside Central Kitchen) and a pest control service (Bugs Be Gone).
